Men of League Foundation

Charity Overview

Thanks to ICAP’s 2010 Charity Day donation, Men of League Foundation has now taken over 250 nursing care residents, people with a disability and Men of League members who are living in difficult circumstances and treated them to an NRL "Back to the Game" match. The programme gave these people an opportunity to reconnect with other former players and supporters and provided a social outing that would not normally be possible.

Project Summary

The Men of League Foundation is an Australian charity supporting all members of the rugby league family, from the grass roots canteen worker to the former NRL star, who have suffered injury or illness and are in financial hardship. Since 2002 it has given out more than AUS $2,500,000 through grant assistance, welfare visits and a scholarship scheme, as well as funding residential care and rehabilitation facilities and support for other charities.
