Charity Overview
Just Like Us is a charity with a simple vision: a world where LGBT+ young people live awesome lives. Sadly, growing up LGBT+ in the UK is still unacceptably challenging, with 3 in 4 experiencing bullying in school because of their identity. Just Like Us run programmes which support schools and empower young people to champion LGBT+ inclusion and equality in education. After taking part in their initiatives, schools report reduced rates of homophobic, biphobic and transphobic bullying among young people and educators feel more confident addressing LGBT+ issues. Ultimately, this results in school environments where every LGBT+ young person can thrive.
