ICAP’s donation will support the Summer Institute which is an eight week intensive training programme for Teach For Thailand Fellows prior to their school placements. This programme includes a camp that promotes self-awareness, collaboration and working with the community. It also offers a training course focusing on teaching practice, classroom management and ethical principles.

Charity Overview

Teach For Thailand , founded in 2012, is a local not-for-profit organisation and a partner of the global network, Teach For All. The charity strives to develop collective leadership in Thailand to help realise children’s potential and ensure all children have the opportunity to attain an excellent education. Teach for Thailand recruits exceptional young Thai professionals and graduates of all academic disciplines to provide inspirational teaching in low-income schools for a period of two years. During this time, the charity trains and coaches students to help improve their academic achievements, character strengths and life skills. They build a leadership network to create a long-term impact on Thailand’s education and society.
