Charity Overview

The International Children’s House of the Evangelical Society in Frankfurt was founded in 1986 and is the only open-air recreation facility for children aged between 6-13 years old in the Frankfurt ‘Station District’. The ‘Station District’ is an area which combines a wide range of socio economic groups. The contrast between rich and poor, means that the children using the facility are in need of support on a daily basis. Not only are they socially disadvantaged, they also struggle to speak the German language and are in dire need of emotional support.
