Charity Overview

Down Syndrome of Louisville, is a not-for-profit organisation founded in 1977 by Mary Carter, an early childhood educator who established the first Early Intervention Education programme for children with Down syndrome in Kentucky. The charity’s mission is to improve the lives of people with Down syndrome and their families by providing support, information, education, as well as advocating for the rights and concerns of individuals with Down’s syndrome.
