Barnardos Australia is a leading non-government, non-denominational child protection charity, committed to ending child abuse. The charity works with families and communities facing issues such as violence, poverty, mental illness and homelessness, in order to prevent child abuse and keep children safe in their own home. When this isn’t possible, Barnardos find safe homes for abused children through foster care and adoption. Its evidence-based research and dedicated caseworkers and carers ensure they are well equipped to fully support, care for and nurture children in need.
