Charity Overview
The Ambulant Children’s Hospice Society Frankfurt/Rhein Main belongs to the foundation ‘Deutscher Kinderhospizverein e.V’, which was founded in 1990.
Qualified volunteers support and make home visits to children and young adults who have been diagnosed with a terminal and/or life limiting illness. Support is offered from diagnosis, throughout every stage of a child’s illness and beyond in the form of specialist bereavement care. Furthermore, the charity provides guidance, practical support and respite. It also acts as a resource for providing information and mediation concerning other institutions. All support is offered free of charge to the children and their families.
