ICAP’s donation will support Concordia Children’s Services (CCS) Street and Urban Poor Children programme, creating a lifelong impact on the lives of the Filipino street children the charity serves. The programme nurtures abandoned, neglected and surrendered infants, offering nutritional support, referral to social services, counselling, welfare assistance, recreational activities and scholarships empowering older children through the charity’s educational and holistic development programme.

Charity Overview

Concordia Children’s Services (CCS) is a community based child welfare service, located in central Manila, Philippines. The organisation is dedicated to helping at risk and neglected children. CCS provide quality, temporary care to abandoned and orphaned children and supports them until they are placed in permanent, stable and loving homes. The charity’s goal is to ensure that all the urban disadvantaged children it serves have a right to education, dignity and sustenance. The charity also protects these vulnerable children from the dangers of living on the street.

CCS was established in 1983 as a child caring agency for abandoned and neglected children from underprivileged families in Pasig city. In 1991, CCS moved to the district of Santa Mesa where it continues to serve the community today.
