When complete, this cutting edge institute will take a unique approach to combating disease. From cancer to Alzheimer’s, heart disease to diabetes, scientists at the Crick will create, accelerate and develop important medical breakthroughs to benefit patients around the world. Basic laboratory research discoveries will be turned into real health benefits as quickly as possible, including new diagnostic tests, better drugs and kinder treatments.
