Cerebral palsy is the most common physical disability in childhood affecting approximately 1 in 500. Every 15 hours a child is born with cerebral palsy - a life-long physical disability affecting movement and posture. The causes are unknown and there is no known cure. People with cerebral palsy are likely to have other impairments such as a speech, vision or intellectual. Most people with cerebral palsy suffer from chronic pain. Cerebral Palsy Alliance has a 68 year history of providing services to help people with cerebral palsy to achieve independence and live as full a life as possible.
