A donation from ICAP Charity Day will go towards the growing and planting of rainforest trees in Byron Shire, NSW.

Land of ecological importance will be prioritised, such as along rivers and at high elevations, to promote seed dispersal and consequently fast-track natural regeneration. The plantings will also have a high carbon storage potential.

Charity Overview

ReForest Now was created by an unabated passion to see large-scale reforestation/regeneration of Australian rainforests. Their diverse, strong team are working with partners and individuals around the world to see immediate and effective restoration of a critically endangered ecosystem.

The Big Scrub rainforest once covered 75,000 hectares of northern NSW - thick with trees, shrubs, ferns and vines.
