ICAP's donation will be used to fund the ongoing support of the Fundacion Excepcionales centre in Santiago. The charity have moved into a new centre in Santiago and funds from ICAP will help with the expansion and remodeling of new rooms in which they do their therapies, as well as purchasing the necessary equipment for their treatment rooms.

Charity Overview

Fundacion Excepcionales supports people with Down’s syndrome from birth through to secondary education. The charity has created three educational programmes to help enhance different stages of development and learning for the children it serves:

"Support and Significant stimulation” supporting children aged 0-3 years.
"Transition Program" aimed at children from three years old to pre- nursery enrolment age.
"Inclusion Program" designed to facilitate the enrolment of children and young people with Down’s syndrome into both primary and secondary education approved by their parents or guardians.
