Charity Overview

Coram protects childhoods – they have championed the rights and welfare of children since 1739, making them the UK’s longest-standing children’s charity with aim of giving children the best possible start in life which includes access to education.

Their education work targets the most disadvantaged and vulnerable children. Currently there are four charities within Coram: Coram Beanstalk; Coram Life Education; Tomorrows Achievers, and Coram Family and Childcare. These charities bring access to over 4,000 primary schools and early year’s settings, access to over 25,000 teachers and almost 3,000 volunteers.
