Carney’s Community

A donation from ICAP Charity Day will support four projects, these include one-on-one personal boxing sessions, twice weekly youth clubs where participants are taught about living a healthy lifestyle and are given access to a free healthy meal. The Carney’s Bike Project, where young people work alongside a professional mechanic to fix donated bikes and finally, mentoring for young people referred to by the police, probation services, social services and schools, to help get them back into education, work experience and employment.

Charity Overview

Carney’s Community helps to get disadvantaged young people off the streets and away from a life of crime and despair by giving them skills, discipline and self-respect. This is achieved through various programmes, including a mentoring programme and boxing fitness sessions.
