Sunrise Children’s Services is the only state-wide private, not-for-profit provider of services supporting abused and neglected children, offering a complete range of care.
Sunrise has been serving these chidren in Kentucky since 1869, and offers a safe haven for children and teenagers who have been removed from their homes due to abuse and neglect.
Whether providing safe and loving foster homes, residential treatment programmes or in-home services designed to keep families together, Sunrise supports thousands of children across Kentucky. The charity supports more than 2,000 abused and neglected children in its 11 residential centres. These children need love, stability, direction and structure in order to thrive.
