ICAP's donation will fund Pencils of Promise’s core programmes which are designed to ensure better education facilities and quality education is delivered through new school builds, teacher support and its “Water, Sanitation & Hygiene” programmes. ICAP will support the construction of a new school in Laos, WASH programmes (Water & Health Programmes to Students) in Guatemala to ensure all students have access to high quality and safe sanitation facilities and student testing in Ghana to make sure pupils are improving their health and hygiene regimes.

Charity Overview

Pencils of Promise (PoP) is a non-profit organisation with the goal of increasing access to quality education for children in the developing world. Founded in 2008, PoP is committed to working with communities across the globe helping to build schools and create programmes that provide education opportunities for children, regardless of their background. To date, PoP has built over 360 schools, provided access to education to more than 33,000 students throughout Ghana, Guatemala, Laos and Nicaragua. PoP has established itself as a leading non-profit organisation working toward sustainable social change.
