Survivors & Mates Support Network (SAMSN) is a specialist organisation working to increase public awareness of the effects that childhood sexual abuse can have on men in their adult lives. SAMSN provides resources to male survivors of childhood sexual abuse, to help them deal with the past and live a full and rewarding life. The charity advocate on behalf of men to dispel myths associated with the devastating impact of childhood sexual abuse and provide information to make it easier for men to disclose and seek the help they need. SAMSN's Health Professional Workshops are designed to assist clinicians working with traumatised adults and build an Australia wide support network so that men do not have to suffer in shame, silence or isolation.
