ICAP’s support will fund a campaign to help eradicate curable blindness in the world. Cataracts are a significant contributor to the issue, yet can be corrected with simple, effective surgery. A contribution from ICAP Charity Day will also go towards providing education and vocational training for visually impaired people.

Charity Overview

Norges Blindeforbund is an organisation set up for people suffering from poor sight. More than 1,000 Norwegians are completely blind and approximately 180,000 are regarded as visually impaired. Norges Blindeforbund has over 12,000 members with branches in each county of Norway all working towards social equality for the blind and partially sighted.
