ICAP’s support will help fund 50 preclinical drug trials through the Children’s Tumor Foundation Drug Discovery Initiative and NF Preclinical Consortium. This ground breaking research will improve the lives of millions of individuals and families affected by neurofibromatosis.

Charity Overview

The Children's Tumor Foundation is a non-profit organisation dedicated to finding effective treatments for the millions worldwide living with neurofibromatosis (NF).

NF causes tumours to grow on nerves throughout the body and can lead to blindness, bone abnormalities, cancer, deafness, disfigurement, learning disabilities as well as excruciating and disabling pain.

The Children’s Tumor Foundation funds critical research into neurofibromatosis. This pioneering research is also facilitating new discoveries in other forms of cancer such as brain tumors, bone abnormalities and learning disabilities.
