Charity Overview

Established in 1995 by a group of healthcare professionals and caregivers, the Hong Kong Alzheimer’s Disease Association is a charitable organisation whose mission is to advocate for dementia patients and their families. Over the years, the charity has evolved from being a small self-help group where caregivers offer mutual support to other caregivers, to being a large professional organisation providing a wide range of specialised dementia services, including dementia-specific day-care, home care, caregiver training and public awareness education. The charity relies entirely on public and corporate donations to fund its essential services.
